Using subpages

Subpages are not well supported by GitHub Wiki – only a set of flat wiki pages can be specified. However, hierarchies of pages are sometimes appropriate for technical documentation.

To get around this, semi-colons in page titles are turned into sets of subpages. For example, Parent; Child will create a subpage called Child underneath a main page called Parent. You can add as many semi-colons as you need to represent your structure.

You can see this in action on this page – in the rendered manual it is rendered as a subpage but in the GitHub wiki it is shown with a semi-colon.
